Ben Bartlett was the composer for the Walking with... series.
To many fans of the series, his contribution to the series was making deeply moving, lifelong memorable and grand music to accompany the greatest natural history documentaries of all time. Every note matches the imagery to the uttermost perfect degree. Had the series had different music, of a more predictable kind (overwrought and simple, for children only) then the programme may not have had such a serious yet purely interesting impact upon the entire audience range. Some such as myself) have been inspired so much since childhood to lean all of their ambitions for career and interests towards Palaeontology.
